Privacy
Effective October 5, 2026.
This policy covers ordinarywondersbureau.com, which Ordinary Wonders Bureau runs. The short version: the site collects almost nothing, and nothing about you is sold or shared for advertising.
What the site keeps
- No cookies, analytics or trackers. The site loads no third-party scripts, fonts or widgets.
- Your cart and your theme stay in your browser. The site saves your cart and your light or dark setting in your browser's local storage. They stay on your device until you clear them. The date stamped on each cart line is kept in session storage, which clears when you close the tab.
- Your cart's contents leave your device only at checkout. When you press Check out, the designs, colors, sizes and quantities in your cart are sent to the server to price the order. The theme setting never leaves your device.
Hosting and logs
Cloudflare hosts the site. Like any web host, it processes your IP address and the pages you request in order to deliver them. Requests to the site's checkout service, at addresses that start with /api/, are logged, and I use those logs only to find and fix problems.
Buying
- On Etsy. Buttons that say "Buy on Etsy" open that design's listing in my Etsy shop, OrdinaryWondersCo. What you share there is covered by Etsy's privacy policy, not this one.
- Demo checkout. When this site runs in test mode, its checkout is a demonstration that charges nothing and ships nothing. If you enter a name, email or address there, they go to the server only to build the demo order. They are not stored or passed on.
If you email me, I receive your email address and your message, and I use them only to reply. My email is hosted by Google Workspace.
Seeing or deleting your information
The site doesn't keep personal information about you. If you've emailed me, ask and I'll tell you what I have, or delete it.
Tracking and Do Not Track
No advertising or analytics company collects information about your activity on this site, and nothing here follows you to other sites. Because the site doesn't track you, it works the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.
Changes
If this policy changes, I'll post the new version on this page and update the effective date.
