Observe a little closer.

The hat has its chin strap hanging loose, the way it does when you've just taken it off. The river stone has two pale bands running across it.

Print artwork: Australia through its ordinary things: a sprig of eucalyptus leaves with gum nuts, a yellow banksia flower, half a passionfruit full of seeds, a wide-brimmed canvas hat with a chin strap, a smooth grey river stone with pale bands and a postage stamp of red earth and a single gum tree by the water.
