Thailand, Elsewhere Crewneck

Not for sale yet. This design is a preview, so there's nothing to buy today.

A Thailand crewneck sweatshirt: a mangosteen cut open, a hand of small bananas, a frangipani, a woven sticky-rice basket, a lime, lemongrass and a stamp of a long-tail boat on a canal.

Color: Sand

Classic-fit fleece crewneck sweatshirt, 50% cotton and 50% polyester, with a rib-knit collar. By the size chart it is about 2″ wider than the unisex tee in the same size (M: 22″ across against 20.25″) and about as long, so most people take their usual size.

Care

Colors on screen are approximate, and light inks can look slightly tinted on red or maroon shirts. A faint square around the print right out of the package is the printer's pretreatment and washes out in the first wash.

Observe a little closer.

The mangosteen is shown whole and opened, so you can see the white segments inside the purple shell. The basket is the kind sticky rice is steamed and served in.

Print artwork: Thailand through its ordinary things: a purple mangosteen beside one cut open to its white segments, a hand of small bananas, a white and yellow frangipani flower, a woven bamboo basket for sticky rice, a whole lime and a half, two stalks of lemongrass and a postage stamp of a long-tail boat on a canal at sunrise.
