Leopard Frog in Winter Tee

Not for sale yet. This design is a preview, so there's nothing to buy today.

A frog T-shirt for winter: a leopard frog on the bottom of a frozen pond, drawn as a cut straight down through the snow, the ice, the cold green water and the mud.

The frog sits still among sunken oak leaves, with cattails standing up out of the snow above it. It goes with the wood frog in Winter Quarters and is drawn the same way, with water where the wood frog has leaves.

Color: Washed Denim

Relaxed, boxy heavyweight tee with dropped shoulders. Most people take their usual size; size up one for an oversized look.

Care

Garment-dyed, so each shirt's color varies slightly.

Colors on screen are approximate, and light inks can look slightly tinted on red or maroon shirts. A faint square around the print right out of the package is the printer's pretreatment and washes out in the first wash.

Observe a little closer.

The frog was kept for its spots, each dark one ringed in pale, and for the clean bands of snow, ice, water and mud. Its greens lean a little tan. Look for the strings of bubbles caught in the ice, the sunken oak leaves and the snail shell in the mud.

Print artwork: the edge of a frozen pond cut straight down. Cattails, reeds and bare twigs rise from a band of pale blue snow with three snowflakes. Under it is a band of pale aqua ice with cracks and strings of trapped bubbles, then dark green water with water weeds, three sunken orange oak leaves and a sunken branch. On the mud at the bottom sits a green and tan leopard frog seen from the side, its dark spots ringed in pale. Below is orange-brown mud with round stones, roots and a snail shell.
